A Necessary
Disturbance.

Everybody says, “Read the room.”
Papi, I booked the room.

An hour of stand-up and storytelling about survival, family, immigration, and the American Dream. Bring that friend who says, “You can’t say that anymore.” Their face is part of the show.

Good taste.
Questionable diplomacy.

Meet Yanet

Serious purpose.
Questionable delivery.

Yanet Candelario is a Cuban-Canadian comedian, social entrepreneur, and human rights advocate. She grew up in Cuba, where speaking freely wasn’t safe. Now she turns survival into laughter and uncomfortable truths into a very good night out.

Her background spans finance, nonprofit, and the legal industry. Her leadership has helped change federal and state laws. Most people complain about the system. She makes it do paperwork.

She believes in restorative justice and a fairer legal system. Everyone deserves a second chance. Except whoever invented the convenience fee.

Be happy. Make money. Make a difference.

01
The roots

Made in Cuba.

A childhood full of stories. Most came with the instruction, “Don’t repeat this.” Oops.

02
The next chapter

Shaped by Canada.

Canada taught her to say “sorry.” Now she can insult you and make it sound like customer service.

The microphone

America, unfiltered.

New York. Big dreams. No sleep. Walk-in closet. Live-in me.

Let's make some weather

Book the Storm.
Warn the neighbors.

For bookings, press, sponsorships, or a brilliant idea that needs a louder person, find me on Instagram or email info@yanet.us.

Book a performance

Send your event, location, date, audience, and budget. “We can pay you in exposure.” Papi, so can a broken zipper.

Sponsorships & partnerships

Good causes. Bad jokes. Excellent use of your money. Sponsor a strong woman. It’s like thoughts and prayers, but the venue accepts it.

Press & collaborations

Send your idea and deadline. “Just a quick question” is how my one-hour show started.

“Make it make sense, papi.”
